Default J37 and Kramer Tape (Waves 9.6) crash Reaper

J37 and Kramer Tape crash.
When I open one of these plugins and I move their window, the system crash.
Only for these two plugins.
They work in other programs.
Win7 x64

are you using vst2 or vst3?
waves claim compatibility with reaper on all VST3 plugs now.

I had to do a good flush out of my system when first moving over to the Waves Central app, but zero problems once I had all the old stuff removed and no longer referenced in Reaper.
Worth a try cleaning up then doing a clear cache - rescan..

I use VST2, but I'll try VST3.
Thank you for your reply.

Assuming vst3 works OK, you might want to do what I did - this could be as simple as your OLD waves installation files still hanging around and Reaper picking them up instead of the new ones.

One of my few criticisms of Waves is that they don't seem to care about how much of a mess they leave behind when updating their software, which is dumb because most other software houses clean up after themselves, so it cant be THAT hard to implement....

After cleaning plugins directory and Windows registry, everything works.
Thank you.
