Default master fader unstable

i am a newbie to recording i think reaper is an amazing tool
i have recorded 3 or 4 guitar tracks useing my pod xt .
i save the project and it plays back fine ??when i reaload reaper via usb
memory stick next day the master volume fader begins to rise up on its own
i pull i down but it all ways goes back to the top wich is far to loud.
could you help me

Welcome to Reaper!

Sounds like you have one or more misbehaving SM plugins in that project. What plugins are you using? If you disable them one by one after the level has build up, you should be able to find the problem easily.

out of curiosity...
try disabling global automation.
it may be youve accidentally written automation on the master track.
if thats the case, then disable/delete the automation for the master track, and you should be fine. or
