Default problem with reaper and shortcircuit-2 !

Hello Reaper folks!

In order to use sf2- and sfz-sample-sets I tried to engage the
sampler "shortcircuit-2" of vemberaudio sweden. For simple sf-2 and
sfz-sample sets shortcircuit-2 seems to be stable.

Unfortunately SC-2 (=shortcircuit-2) doesn't like to work together
with reaper as a VSTi. Everytime I save a reaper project all the samples
assigned to the sfz-files of SC-2 are saved too. Thus the
reaper project file rpp becomes gigantic in size.

My expectation is: When I save a reaper-file, all the VST-
settings of SC-2 should be saved, but NOT the samples
themselves.

Did I overlook something? Is there a setting in the
compatibility-mode in reaper for SC-2? Does anybody
have a workaround for this SC-2 problem in reaper?

Not really but try to use SC-1.1.2 instead.
Version 2 was never completed.

Haha, not really, but thank you!

The GUI of SC-2 is nice, the handling of samples
in sc-2 is easy and great, the performance is better
than that of SC-1. So I thought I could
keep this sampler in my VSTi-list, but only if there
would be a setting which cures the "save all
samples within the reaper-project"-failure.

So I must concede: I will drop SC-2! Currently
I have SC-1, Sforzando, SFZ-Player and Halion,
that must be enough.

Greetings, enroe.

Was a fan of SC1 for a while but SC2 always unstable for me (that was in Cubase)
Another decent freebie in case you missed it.
