Default Samplomatic5000

Hi All -I Recently discovered Samplomatic & have been recording a few tentative samples of my own.

Great results - record a sound, like a short word & it gets mapped to my keyboard.

I play up & down the keyboard & the pitch changes but the sample speeds up & starts to sound like a chipmunk!

Is there a way to change pitch without this happening (I do appreciate somewhat the acoustics involved - vibrating string lengths etc).

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks.
