Default EZ Drummer Problems

Hi, I'm running Reaper v0.999 and when I try to open the EZ Drummer VSTi it crashes out of Reaper.

I can use EZ Drummer fine with Tracktion but I prefer Reaper.

Does it have to do possibly with the version of Reaper I am running? Would buying a license and upgrading to the latest version of Reaper solve my problem?

Try using the latest version and see if it fixes.. if so, then keep using it (and if you do, buying a license would be nice )

I updated to the latest version and it still crashes.

Is there anything in the Preferences I need to change concerning MIDI?

I got it working now. Now I just need to buy a license.

Hmm, I'm having exactly the same problem. Only I haven't solved it yet.

Check the box next to Always run track FX... in the audio menu of the reaper settings, that will solve some problems with EZ drummer.
