Default Ctrl copy crossfaded items loses crossfades!

When I select a bunch of items on a track that are crossfaded and ctrl-drag them to copy, the crossfades are lost in both the copy and original seemingly because of the large amount of confusing crossfading that has to be done when the new copy is 'passing through' the old items (copy paste works fine). Fairly curiously this happens also when dragging straight up. Although it's not that curious.

Reproducable - can post an example if required.

Could it be you got autocrossfadeing activated?

Well, yes, but then maybe no crossfading should happen until I let go...
