Default Question for anyone with WAVES Real-Tune Plugin....Settings for a particular note...

I have pre-recorded music I sing to and it is in the note of C#m.

So, in this case, does the 'm' stand for MAJOR or minor?

So, for someone who has this plugin and knows all the choices I have in the list, of scales, which should I pick?

Thanks in advance for your help.........

OK, but, when I look at the list of options in this plugin I see:

-Minor Justonic
-Minor Pentatonic
-Minor Pentatonic + Blues
-Melodic Minor (Ascending)
-Melodic Minor (Ascending Decending)
-Natural Minor

So, how to I know which one to pick?

FYI - I don't read music. All I am doing is singing to pre-recorded tracks that make up a song. Most songs are in the POP genre if that makes a difference.

you don't. either -

i.) learn musical theory and the differences between scales, modes etc.
ii.) google the song you're covering - maybe the info you want is out there somewhere
iii.) experiment and see what sounds best.

Set it for Chromatic, which means it simply goes to the nearest note, which works for any key and scale.

Those scales are meant to keep the note within a scale, but if someone is singing not so out of pitch that the melody is totally unrecognizable, I can't imagine bothering with them.
