Default Plug ins crash

On a new Windows 10 pc build 16 gig ram-i7 processor-I am having a problem with ONE plug in-Softube reverb)-It worked perfectly on my pc with windows 7-I'm using the same Focusrite Sapphire Pro 40 interface. I have read some posts about not putting your plug ins in the Reaper folder-I didn't tell Softube where to put it when I downloaded it so I don't know about that-I'm just not very knowledgeable about the plug in set up-Slate was a nightmare-Waves was easy-I just wish I could have stuck with Windows 7-thanks for any tips

Not familiar with that plug but as far as location is concerned I would suggest you open reaper and go to options/preferences/plugins and check in the VST location window where Reaper think the vst plugins are.
Once you have that info open the windows file manager, navigate to the folders listed in reaper and see if you can find the Softube plug.

Good luck
