Just to inform you: In another subforum someone claimed that there now is an "official" ARA2 aware plugin: "Revoice" -> https://forum.cockos.com/showpost.ph...2&postcount=34.

Hence it might be considered to do the rc with ARA2 support.

An interesting thing, in all prerelease versions, optimize for tonal content option (in the settings of the elastique) temporarily disappears as a separate process, then before the release of the public version, appears again.What is the reason for this?

Generally if stuff disappears for the RC versions, it means they're not quite happy with them / haven't finished testing them, but want to get the rest of the stuff out without holding it up. Then they drop back into the next pre-release for more testing.

Or like recently with ARA2, it's not usable / testable for customers, anyway.

Yes, it means that we might change/remove that functionality at any point, vs stuff that goes in the releases, which we will generally keep supporting for a very long time...
