often you want to only move items on specific tracks( for example the tracks for a multichannel vsti (drums or whatever))

Ripple edit has modes: single track (the track with the item you move, and items grouped to that item) OR all tracks.

no it can´t , because it misses the 3rd and most obvious "on selected tracks" mode...

think like multiple single tracks at once .. i.e. track 3 , 7 and 11.,12 , 14 and 22-26 should be moved backwards
while the other tracks stay in place

sorry but that doesn´t help. or maybe i missed it but i read both threads

if the selected items are on those tracks then it will work like that.

alright , thanx man i need to select items instead of tracks , well thats even better, how i didn´t see this before ..
