Hi, I made a quick video showing how you can edit the Reaper 6 theme in order to get the track controls to align the same way they did on Reaper 5.
You can watch the video here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oj0flaTRjSs
Basically, you open up the rtconfig.txt file for the Reaper 6 theme, go to line 232 and insert the following code between the "set tcp.size" and "set tcp_LabelSize" lines:
set tcp_LabelSize ?tcp_control_align{0} ?recarm - tcp_LabelSize 15 tcp_LabelSize ?recarm - / - * scale tcp_LabelSize this_tcp_indent{0} scale 15 / - * scale tcp_LabelSize this_tcp_indent{0} scale
This will make it so the track controls stay in the same spot no matter how many folders you add. However, you might want the track controls to expand outwards as you add more folders, the same way they did with Reaper 5. In that case, add these two lines instead (would probably recommend most people use this one):
set tcp.maxIndent * tcp_indent{0} maxfolderdepth{0}
set tcp_LabelSize ?tcp_control_align{0} ?recarm - tcp_LabelSize 15 tcp_LabelSize ?recarm + - / - * scale tcp_LabelSize this_tcp_indent{0} scale 15 tcp.maxIndent{0} + / - * scale tcp_LabelSize this_tcp_indent{0} scale tcp.maxIndent{0}
After you've added this code, save rtconfig.txt and reload the theme. If you encounter any issues, delete the line and reload the theme and it should go back to normal. Don't try and change the rtconfig.txt without going back to the original version first and reloading.
