Using Reaper video to extract audio from video
I haven't used Reaper's video software yet, but have 4 songs that were sung at a friends funeral, and his widow asked if I could burn her a CD of just the audio.
Is this possible with Reaper? If so, is there anyone that can point me in the right direction to accomplish this? I would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance. |

I would use Avidemux to extract audio from video.

If you drag the video file to a track, 'glue' it, then I believe you have an audio file that you can ctrl+Alt drag to your desktop.
Avidemux is good too

I was curious about CD making so I found this guide:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q4fBgzbcvYY and in your case just drag and drop your video files in Reaper as if they were plain audio files and the rest is the same as the tutorial. Rendering to CD format will just ignore the video part. |
