Default resize item on parent track folder

Hi,
I've been really loving using HeDa's region items - and have integrated it into my workflow nicely. (Sound Design.)

I'm wanting a script that resizes items on parent folder tracks so they encapsulate all nearby items on the child tracks within the resulting item-region bounds.

In other words, in the attached image, I want the dark green item (HeDa region track item) to be resized to encapsulate the light green items. (The dark green item is on a folder track, the light green items are on its children tracks).

If you're unfamiliar, there's more infos on HeDa's Region Tracks, here:
https://reaper.hector-corcin.com/app/regions-tracks

I have written a lot of basic scripts, but don't really know where to start with this one. How do you get the parent folder tracK? I'm not really seeing any obvious way to get that in the API.

Thanks for any advice.

reaper.GetParentTrack( track ) ?

Also, you may interested by first script in this pack : https://www.extremraym.com/en/downlo...ms-grouping-2/

It create regions and adjust them automatically based on items groups. Very handy, prevent the use of an item on a top track, in replacement of "top track item" worfklow.

Thanks XRaym!

One thing I like about item-based regions is you can hide them when you hide the track that holds them.

That true ! I use heda script when I need region sets.

I had a whole other package for this workflow especially, which I used before the other one.
