Why an empty Reaper.exe using 35..40% cpu, in wine 32 bit, in ubuntu 18.04 64 bit??

Reaper 6.11 rev 7812ba, new empty project, I do not remember in the past cpu consumption was that high? Are any new features auto-enabled which I should disable probably again? Retina stuff? What can cause this high cpu?

Any hints what else I can try or test? Otherways, I should try downgrading Reaper again, until cpu goes down again. Not sure if this counts as bug or not, I wanted to post here as best fit. Thanks in advance for any useful hints and comments.

To be more precise in Reaper itself cpu shows as 0%, but when I start top in bash, Reaper.exe shows between 35..40% cpu.
