Default toneboosters Track Essentials 3

-> https://www.toneboosters.com/tb_trackessentials_v3.html
is just €29.-

Does anybody have comments on same ?

Their "Compressor", "Equalizer", and "Gate" seem very similar to the appropriate "Rea..." plugins. "DeEsser, "Ferrox", "Module", "Reverb" and "Timemachine" might offer new useful functionality to Reaperers...

I've owned that suite for many years now, and although I like the compressor and EQ, I do quite often use the rea ones instead. Especially since the reaQ has had a facelift.

However, the TB de-esser, reverb and module are my go-tos. Reelbus and isone are invaluable for me on the master bus, but they're not part of that bundle. TB fix gets used a lot too when something needs fixing.

Thanks for your comments !

In fact their "BusTools 3 bundle" (€ 49 .- ) that includes Reelbus and isone seems viable,

Yes, the bustools is a very good deal.. lots of useful tools. I sometimes mix with headphones, and isome Is a godsend for those late night mixes. Every tool in that bundle is quite potent.

Tone boosters have a tryout model very similar to reaper.. It just doesn't save we what you did when you close the session. So you can give the tools a good try before buying them.

God, I sound like a rep lol. But I'm not.. I like quite a few of their plugs though.

toneboosters are a no brainer for such an easy to swallow price. I got Track Essentials first years ago and still get a lot of use out of them. Bus Essentials are also worth having, and EQ V4(which adds extremely configurable dynamic response per band) and Barricade V4 limiter/clipper are incredible values. Generally they're my go-to's. I use them and Bus Compressor regularly and happily. Sibilance and Reelbus, my favorite tape emulation, are also excellent. If someone wants the tools and can't justify the cost of other bundles I highly recommend going with toneboosters. They sound great, dev is responsive and are are a good compliment to the Reaper plugins.

Yep, BusTools 3 is really nice. I use ReelBus 3 a lot, and isone is really nice as well for work on headphones.
