Default ReaPlugs for OSX

Any chance seeing the ReaPlugs ported as AU/VST?

It would make a huge change for the community to have the ReaStream ported as it would be the only FREE cross-platform solution for MIDI and Audio over LAN!

So what are our chances?

There are some serious reasons why porting them to work in other hosts on OS X would be a complete pain, but we'll look at doing ReaStream...

Composers on Macs with PC farms would be all over this. And it needn't be free!

ReaStream as AU on OSX will drive all the Gigasampler Users to you, since FX-Max Teleport 2.0 will never surface for OSX (Max is seriously ill). GVI 4 for OSX is dead, too.

Since it is possible to run the VSL Performance Tool with Wine on the Mac (yes, it is working!) a Reastream AU Version for OSX would make it possible to stream the orchestral library over the network.

Bump on this message .

Did this ever happen? I'm looking for Reastream for Mac OS X (I've just found out this is via ReaPlugs) but obviously this is Windows only?!

Am I missing something and is a Mac version available?

Basically only looking for Reastream in another host, and as I did another post about this only the other day, I'm still none the wiser, as it had no replies?

Reastream works great on Reaper OS X and sending through to a PC. But would love this available in "any" DAW host as a plug in on the master output

I think if you can port them it would really help introduce people to Reaper and also be great for producers like myself that use Reaper and other Daws, but like to use the familiar Reaplugs.

This would be great for us Mac guys.

Are there any alternatives to reastream for osx? I'm just looking for any vst plugin that will take audio input from a reaper track and put it in maschine.

Thanks I'll try that... I also noticed that soundflower has a vst, and tried that this morning:

https://code.google.com/p/soundflower-in/

But so far I havn't been able to get reaper or maschine to recognize it

Default BBUUUMMMMMPPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!

Please Please Please... JS plugins across multiple DAWS would seriously ROCK!!!
There are some awesome creative things to do here, and polishing my reaplugs skills in other hosts before I mix the projects in reaper on the MAC would be an awesome win win.

It's 10 years later (even though this has been brought up a few times).

Is this still the case? Is there no hope for macOS Reaplugs?
