Default inadvertent rate change during recording

I somehow inadvertently increased the playback "rate" (from 1.0 to 1.6 in the transport section) DURING a recording and now playback is slowed when it reaches the point where I made the rate change error.

Is there a way to correct this mistake?
Thanks in advance!!

G

Perhaps others have better solutions, but perhaps just automate the tempo to the correct tempo

You can split at that point, then stretch the right side of the items to be the correct rate (uncheck the "preserve pitch when changing rate" option for them). If the rate was 1.6, you'd want to set those items to 0.625 (1/1.6).
