Default Extra delay with ReaPitch & feedback routing (NO BUG)

Hey guys, this might be a bug or just the way it is. I'm trying to use ReaPitch in a feedback loop with some timed delays and it's throwing the rhythm off.

Hoping for a fix or a workaround.

Easier to explain with a video

This is not a bug. Allowing feedback routing disables plugin latency compensation. If you load up a plugin like ReaPitch (or a limiter or phase-linear eqs), it will introduce a specific delay - in your case 6656 samples. This additional delay changes the perceived rhythm.
I think you can achieve something like that without feedback routing. That's why you have a slider reading "Feedback" in ReaDelay. Depending on what you want, you can place the rest of the fx chain before or after ReaDelay.

As for workarounds, you can use JS: Utility/bufsave to achieve feedback loops without feedback routing enabled.

Good workaround! I've used a similar plugin (gmemReceive / gmemSend) and it can cause certain jitter effects even during rendering. Just to keep in mind.

I want each repeat to be pitch shifted incrementally as it passes through the loop.

The feedback slider in ReaDelay would just repeat the original signal so the shifting would only work in one step. Not what I'm looking for.

Thanks, will I be able to ping-pong with this?

Yes, that will work.

Not liking this workaround, far more confusing. Any other ideas?

gmemReceive / gmemSend can do the same, though you basically have the same principle. Another tool has never brought up in the discussions I was involved about feedback routing.
