WASAPI audio option for NINJAM client (Windows)

Would it be possible to compile a new version of NINJAM client (Windows) with WASAPI support for audio interface, please?

For average musicians that would like to enjoy NINJAMing is not option to install ASIO driver for their internal inbuilt audio cards and ASIO4ALL is not always also easy to configure.
WASAPI on another hand is present in Windows and is fast and works like a charm (at least in Reaper).

It would be big step up.

I agree that an updated standalone version of the client would be great. The only other alternative for people who can't afford Reaper (especially if their only use is Ninjam) is JamTaba which is buggy and doesn't run on all systems. Standalone ninjam with stereo input and WASAPI support would probably make it easier for even more users to try it out. In this way it would address the 2 most common complaints with the old client but it would still allow for power users to get the extra functionality from the ReaNinjam version.

I think the ninjam forum has been abandoned. It took a worldwide shutdown to get them to pay attention to it again because so many new people were trying it out. There are much simpler requests I've had for months that have gone completely unanswered both here and via PM so I wouldn't expect this to happen unfortunately.
