Not selected midi items move aswell

Maybe i without knowing it changed a preference, but i used to be able to select one item and copy it, but now all unselected items move along leaving a gap,can somebody tell me what's going on here?

One thing which may cause unintentional item movement is if you have Ripple editing on. There's a button for it on the main toolbar, or you can see it in the Options menu.

Ripple editing is off, that's why i don't understand what's going on, but thanks for the reply.

No my bad i was working on another project where it was off but you're right in the "problem" project it is on so many thanx for your reply again.

I wonder if you have accidentally grouped them? Select any item, choose Items, Group from menu and see if Group Items is ticked.

If it is, select all and remove from group.

On edit: oops, I see the problem is solved.
