VST Scan does not refreish

I do Options --> Plugins --VST and click on 'Clear Cache and Rescan'.

When I go to insert a VST and click on New, the old ones are still there. This makes it harder to locate and test a new plugin.

When you do a "clear" as well as a rescan, Reaper resets everything back to zero (CLEAR!) which means all your existing plugs are "new to reaper". Best bet is to only re-scan. Unless of course you have p[lugin issues that need resolving.
