Default How can i remove buttons from tcp?

Basically all i want are the track title, mute and solo. Is this possible?

It's possible by tweaking the layouts of the theme using WALTER. Not for the faint of heart

If you're using the Default v5 theme, its easy to do exactly what you're asking, with no theming experience whatsoever. And Kenny has even done a video showing how...

Ah. I see. Thanks for that, but i am trying to modify another theme ( not default )

Another question, How to i change the background color of the tcp? Id like to brighten it up a bit.

For that you have to modify a png from the theme with Gimp or PS or s.th. similar (for unselected tcp: "tcp_bg.png", selected: "tcp_bgsel.png").

Read White Tie's stickies in this forum about how to unpack a theme.

If you only want to make changes to one single png, you can also open the theme with e.g. 7-zip, drag the desired png to your desktop, edit it and drag it back where it was before.

where is this editor in Walter you are referring to?
I've been using note pad to edit the rt file and Photoshop cs6.

There is no specific editor for WALTER. Notepad is fine when editing the rtconfig.
