Are you saying you want the Default behaviour to be that you solo bass and hear folder sidechain? How do you just listen to bass without folder sidechain then? This gives you the choice at least.

by soling the bass in a side chained folder, it solos bass and the parent. So by default, soloing bass we ear the side chained applied, right?
for me that is expected

It's the default deeb If the sidechain is on the folder, and you render the bass INSIDE the folder, the sidechain is not printed. Check out my script earlier in the thread for the opposite -- printing stems With sidechain!
