Default Coming from Adobe Audition, help me limit/margin my sound

Hi guys,

I have worked many years with Adobe Audition, and now I want to change my DAW to Reaper.

I have imported most of my plugins to Reaper and are good to go, however, I cannot find settings for a multiband compressor in Reaper that suits my needs.

I am using this in Adobe Audition, and I hoped I could find a similar tool in Reaper:

What it does, is that it limits my volume, so it can't exceed -1 and cause damage to the volume, however, I cannot find a similar tool in Reaper.

I am not the sharpest to do these things, as I got alot of help from a friend to set up my Adobe Audition. If anyone could simply explain how to set it up in Reaper I would be forever thankful.

I noticed that theres a vst called JS: Simple Peak Limiter -1, should that do the trick or is it not viable enough?

Do you need multiband limiting or just a brickwall limiter? I like Sir Elliot's Peak Limiter II, but probably the JS would work just fine. Check out 5orcery for multiband limiting. (both free)

For easy "mastering" (just in the FX chain of the master channel) I use the free "Limiter Nr. 6" at the end of the chain for such putpose. It provides a nice set of compressors and limiters. The other plugin in the master FX chain are (in this sequence) an EQ, ReaComp and ReaXComp, and then "Span" to visualize the result at the very end.

All free and for me perfectly sufficient.
