Default Error Creating Project File! Project Not Saved! When Saving to OneDrive Folder

So the past two Reaper updates this issue has come up when trying to save existing Reaper projects to my OneDrive folder. If I change the save path to a different, non-OneDrive folder Reaper saves just fine. No other program has any issues saving to my OneDrive folder and Reaper never had any issues before the two previous updates.

When the last update came out, I had this same issue, but I uninstalled Reaper and reinstalled, and the issue was resolved. But it's doing it again on this latest update and uninstall/reinstall is not working now. Any ideas as to why? So now I have to save to my Downloads folder and manually move it back to my OneDrive folder.

Did you ever come to an understanding of what was the cause? I've got a similar issue... same problem but on a USB mass storage drive. I can open and render to the same folder, but I can't save the project for any changes that I made. I am forced to save to the local drive and then copy the files over manually.

I created a post in the forum, but it hasn't been seen by anyone yet.

Sorry for the late response but yes I did. The issue was BitDefender (my antivirus program) blocking or protecting certain folders from being written to. I never gave permission to Reaper to write to that folder.
