Default "Item properties" dialog loses focus

When making samples in Reaper (e.g. for use in MPC1000), I record them as items, trim and glue as appropriate, and then use the "Rename file" function to give the WAV files meaningful names. The option to rename the file on disk is an excellent feature, and it's very fast to do from keyboard:
F2 (open item properties) -> Alt+R -> type new name -> Enter (to close the rename dialog) -> Enter to close item properties... argh! Can't do that, the properties dialog has lost focus. Got to grab the mouse to close it.

This is not a big deal of course. One may also argue that I need the mouse anyway, to select another item. Still, this interrupts what's otherwise a very efficient workflow, and the fix is probably one line of code ))

I support anything that speeds up the workflow, especially for
keyboard/control surface users.

Well, I found SWS action "rename take(s) and source file(s)" which answers all of my needs:
- can be assigned to a single keystoke - doesn't get more efficient then that!
- renames the take as well
- no need to open properties dialog - no focus problems!
