Default Weird EZ Drummer issue

I have a weird issue with the current song I am working on. Whenever I hit play, at any point in the song, EZ Drummer plays a single kick drum beat when the tracks start playing. I can hit play in an area of the song (like the very beginning or a break in the middle) where nothing is programmed in EZDrummer and as soon as I hit play a single kick plays.

I know it is coming from EZDrummer because I can see it on the level meter for the kick. If I mute the kick, I don't hear it. This is a big nuisance. Anyone ever have this issue or have any ideas to fix it? Any help is appreciated.

- Does the EZD track show that it's playing any MIDI at the time? (In the default theme, it's a thin red line on the side of the track meter)

- Is it specific to a particular project, or does it happen if you open a new one and throw EZD into it?

Yes. It shows a signal in the "main" EZ Drummer track and also in the kick (all tracks are broken out into different channels).

It has not happened in other previous projects.

Do you have the kick selected in EZD? It may be thinking you are auditioning it when you hit the space bar.

If you enable the metronome and tell it to count in, does it happen when you hit the space bar, or when the cursor actually starts moving?

I will need to look at both of these when I get home.
