i have live multiprocessing enabled and this build crashes if i play a track in a folder that is armed and has audio playing on it! (well it hangs and i have to kill the program)
tracks in the same folder with no audio on do not crash
Win7 x64, x64 build of reaper
only did a quick test before reverting to main release as i am working on projects!
it was 3 sub folders deep and i have live multiprocessing enabled on all 8 cores

still happens in Pre2
but its nothing to do with there being audio on the track!
if i copy over the pdc needing plugin to the empty track the same happens

I don't like the new grid highlighted lines. For me it was enough to be able to choose the different colors for grid lines. I'm surprised a change like this has no option to disable and be like it was before.
And now the markers lines have no color. try inserting regions with some colors.
What do you guys think?

ah... thanks schwa... I confess I didn't search for the option there. I was looking down where the grid options are.
Still, deactivating that still doesn't make markers lines in colors in the arrange area as it was before.

That option has nothing to do with MARKER lines, it only has to do with GRID lines.

the highlights.. in default theme.. are not much more visible. And also, when there is a time selection... they become even less noticeable.
And in the case of a muted track, like in the gif, the highlights are much more noticeable because of the dark background of the muted track, which we cannot customize it(it would be good to be able to customize that muted background tracks)
I understand now that the highlights are not the same as grid colors measure and beats... and follow ruler lines... which is nice.
I have an issue with dissapearing lines in the beginning of the ruler, in time mode like Seconds, or Hours:Minutes:Seconds... or Absolute Frames...

I see.. it's not related to the highlights option or not.
But something else has changed then. edit: ok I see it will be fixed

@heda
In case you missed it, the highlighting is themeable (ED already mentioned in pre1). (Agreed it's not very obvious with default color in default theme.)

Comparing to 5.70, Zero Latency not working in ReaVerb as expected, seems to only happen when I'm sending, Track1 is sending to Track2, ReaVerb on track2, loaded project where ZL is enabled, untick ZL and latency goes to the FFT setting as expected, but when you re-enable ZL the latency does NOT change back to zero, and acts really weird if you change FFT too.
EDIT: Fixed in Pre3.

I tried the 5.71 pre's lately and find they crash with a lot of plugins [third party dll's] and\or combinations of the plugins....
it was happening so much and so randomly that I just went back to the official last version and that one is stable and does not crash...
sorry for the lack of crash details but it is clear to me that something got broken in the pre's...
