Default Mapping a PC CTRL shortkey to a midi controller.

I want my PC keyboard shortcut "CTRL" to be mapped on one of my midi controllers button. I think I saw someone done it to a one of LaunchPad3's pads, but not sure how to do that. Any advise?

My advice, try to describe the problem more precisely. It is not clear what you want really. Win, linux? You can do what you want using AutoHotkey or xbindkeys, plus sendmidi (command line program) for example. Or AutoHotkey can send midi itself as well, but I would recommend sendmidi as this is quite a cool and powerful small program. oscii-bot can be useful as well, keykit by Tim Thompson also. Now you have some names to explore. Have fun and good luck.

I did not wanted to be too precice, because I want to do it with several different systems. PC and Mac and also map other hotkeys too, like shift and so on. But at the moment I use PC. Thanks for reply, I check things out.
