Default Sidechain Routing Latency

Hi, I have a bass track and a drum track that I want to dynamically eq dependent on the output of each track. I have successfully set output channels 1 and 2 from my bass track to route to 3 and 4 on the drum track, and am using that input to control my drum eq with no problems. However, when I repeat the same steps to output drum track channels 1 and 2 to 3 and 4 on my bass track, I get really bad latency issues on my drum and bass tracks (sound completely out of sync with the project, appear to progressively get worse during extended playback).

This does not change no matter how low I set my audio buffer size (32 samples - 256 samples). My cpu usage does not seem abnormally high, and I have enabled feedback routing in the project options. Am I missing something that I should have enabled/disabled?

Thank you.

Latency / plugin delay compensation (PDC) doesn't work correctly anymore when feedback routing is enabled.

Thank you very much for your reply. I guess this is not something I can do directly then; will use a workaround.
