Default More old school 1977 punk stuff...

Yeah, we resurrected the old band from 1977, and are now a bunch of old geezers in our 50s (I'm 60+) that still think we're teenagers. This is what we come up with. Lyrics are in Swedish. Basically it is about being pissed off by whatever.

Comments about the mix are welcome. The new limit rendering is addictive, for sure! This one is at -7.2 dB LUFS momentary, but it works. I rolled of the guitar with ReaEQ something like -4.5 db/oct.

Nice one, enjoyed listening to it.
Rough but still with a melodic touch.
Mix totally fits the style imo, nothing to critize.

One can never be too old for Punk rock btw. :P

Yeah, once you have it in you it doesn't leave until you take your last breath, I guess

Lot of energy in that one. It comes across well.

So now.... 1977.... 50's? I was 17 when I first started playing and that was 1989. I sang in a punk band in 88. I will be 50 in January.... Somebody's math is goofy. LOL. Just kidding I see you said you're in your 60's. But nobody with you in 77 is early 50's right now. Unless they were not even 10 playing with you. LOL.

It's a lot of fun to do it all over again. Show the kids they can do it too.... Help em get started and what not.... I had a lot of that when I was a kid. Older guys showing me things.

Well... the youngest one was 14 when we started, so he's not yet 60

But your right of course, we are more like 60+ all of us, not just me. Except the young bass player who is in his 40s. He was not with us at the start.

Yeah, this one takes me back, for sure. Can't believe you guys can still muster the intensity in your 60's. Quite impressed.

For me, wouldn't be the first punk number with incomprehensible lyrics, even in English.

Ahh, reminds of the punk rock shows I used to go to at the foufounes électriques, in Montreal. So much fun! thanks for throwing me back to memory lane!

So much energy here. I wouldn't change a thing. And I'd come hear your band if was in town!

Thanks for all the kind words. I'm glad you seem to appreciate it.
Here is another one

All of it, including the video, is made in Reaper.

Sorry to point that out. My math brain kicked in and the fact that I'm turning 50 in January had me thinking all things age related.

But they're right. You guys kick butt at whatever age you are.....

I seem to be doing quite a bit of punk stuff these days. Here's a track that was taken from a 2" multitrack recorded in the late 70's and mixed in Reaper.
