Default Render multiple file formats at once

I often Render a bunch of Songs in different formats. Wave24bit, Wave16bit, mp3...
I always have to open the Render menu for each format.

Would be nice to have at least a mp3 option when i render wave.

And if i render wave, it would be nice to not render again for mp3 (it takes long if there are many plugins and stuff) but to convert it from the wave file after rendering the wave....

Render Menu
- Multiple format options
- Convert Mp3 instead of rendering if possible

Pretty sure this has been requested a few times, but yes this would be really nice. The Render Queue is not even close to the same thing.

A HUGE +1 on this as well - would save me SO much time printing final mixes. Just being able to render a WAV and MP3 of the same mix in one pass would be huge...

It is a good idea. You can do it with a script. We now have render API functions. It will probably not happen natively.

Hello @heda!! Are you aware of scripts that would allow multiple formats to render in one pass??

The native functions still require multiple passes.

The idea the OP proposes is: the mix is done anyway, so store the renderoutput as e. g. mp3 AND wav at the same time, leading to two files in one render.
Currently, we can only store either format in one render pass.

+1 from me for that. Speeds up things massively.

Ah .. no. Not in one pass. But it would be easy for a script to run FFmpeg to convert the wav to MP3 in a few seconds after the render is done. It wouldn't save much more time to render it in multiple formats in one pass.
