Default Quantize notes to grid dependent on strength

According to this overview here, "quantize notes to grid" should always hard quantize (100%).
https://wiki.cockos.com/wiki/index.p...md_ID_40727.29

In fact, it's dependent on the strength parameter in the quantize dialog.
Something seems broken here.

Just to note, I wouldn't necessarily take what's written in the Cockos Wiki as 100% fact plus it's quite outdated in parts (I think as it's commonly the case with Wikis it was mainly done by volunteers).
Maybe the user guide might be a better source, have you checked if / what it says about it?

edit:
Thinking agian, in this case though 'Quantize notes to grid' seems to me also it should actually hard quantize, so disregard above.

Hey nofish,

nevertheless, I looked it up in the guide and there it says:

Quantize notes position to grid:
This quantizes notes according to your grid settings.

I also think this refers solely to the grid without takingthe strength into account.

Ah, I wish we had the possibility to save quantize presets. Would make things so much easier.

QuantizeTool allow to store various configurations (including strength, maximum shift, offset, objects to quantize, custom or current grid etc)

Last time I tried the tool, I couldn't get working on MIDI notes inside items (from the arrangement). Maybe a user error, now it works
