Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Error R6034 REAPER
I recently bought a new USED tower with a fresh CLEAN install of Win 10 Pro x64. I have an SSD drive as my main drive and a regular 7200 HD for storage.
I have been getting this error code ONLY when I reboot my PC and open reaper. I have kept the PC on most of the time but lately have shut it down a couple of times and have noticed this error....
I have googled it but I do not see any solutions from 2017 or on....Anyone know what I can do for this?
Thx, jeff

Did you already try any of the pre-2017 solutions (since Windows 10 was also first released before 2017)
Otherwise you might find some useful hints here:

CONCLUSION: I have to clean out my reaper folder and find out the culprit.
Thx again, jeff

Hi,
Are you manually copying files or are you using export/import configurations?
In any case, glad you're on the right path.

Hi,
Not sure. But it may be worth a shot. Or do a fresh reaper install and just bring in basic stuff from your customized reaper using the configuration feature in preferences. Then do the rest by hand...meaning setting things to your preference.
Edit what is...created a new account?

Thx Lugnut, yeah that's basically what I'm doing... is working out fine, well just have to recustomise some things as I go....
In the link they suggested you create another account in Windows 10. So I can have a regular account and then you add a friend: family member excetera...So doing that helped me figure out my Reaper ROAMING folder was corrupted.
