Oh, and by the way removing DC offset would be nice as well.

Would love to have this too. As I do a lot of sounddesign for samplepacks, game, video etc in order to allow a consistent volume when scrolling through the browser I always need to re-import samples, normalize and re-render.

I suggest a little "normalize" checkbox somewhere in the render dialog with a field besides it where you can enter the dBFS target. Even more awesome it would be if you could choose to render either to a dBFS or a LUFS target.
