Sower MIDI step sequencer update for Mac OSX and Windows

Hi there,

Version 2.0 released, for Mac OSX and Windows.
*Sower is an extension that acts like FL studio sequencer.

Some functions improved, especially window docking. Added: option to view 1/2/4 bars and ability to sync playback to Reaper.

My deepest apologizes to those people who expected to get it much earlier.

I'd be much appreciate for any bug reports.

recently switched to Avast & it is giving what I assume is a false positive on the Windows free version download .exe file.

Avast seems to be very good at doing this sort of stuff. Just come back and told me the file is "clean" Gee thanks!

All installed fine now. I think I need to switch to another anti malware programme yet again!

The installer is a standard one. Probably Avast does not like dll being copied to another app's directory (UserPlugins).

had a crash on Mac free version. Reaper just disappeared and 20 seconds later the crash report popped up.

Do you have any plans to add new features such as handling RS5k data (if one presented for current track), dumping audio, supporting custom (SWS) grooves, maintain velocities, offsets, etc to make it looks/deels closer to actual FL Studio StepSequencer? Do you using new (5.32+) MIDI API?

Dumping audio - do you mean the current musical bar? Yes, not a problem and I will add this option to the menu.

Handling ReaSamplomatic data? - hmm.. data of what kind, controllers?

Velocities/offsets: there's a pull-out panel at the bottom of the plugin.

Grooves: probably it's possible to add this to the plugin's quantizer as an option

Hmm, never happened before. Does it occur in a particular arrangement or always? Could you send me a copy of your project file saved in such position (which may contain no data, but just saved in the state when the bug occurs) and tell me your system and Reaper version then I could try and fix it.

I did not understand everything but when I ignore the default project everything is fine so I have resave my default project and it seems to have worked I think. Maybe it is better not to save it open in the default project?

this always occurs at the same time on the time line and does not reproduce further in the track all works

You are using an old Sower version 2.0, it has bugs. Please download the latest 2.1.

I'm sure you are using an old version because it writes '2.0' inside your .rpp file while the new one would write '2.1'. Check the plug options please, it should look like these in the picture attached to this message. If not then reinstall 2.1.

Have you installed it a long time ago? What I'm afraid is that you have some version that is actually 2.0 but marked as 2.1 - because of my messiness.

I will try to do something about it.
There's a problem with the option File->Project settings->"Force project tempo/time signature changes..."
when it is off, no problem occurs. Still I don't know what causes this at this time.
