Default Item pitch manipulation with midi input

Hi
Is it possible to change the item pitch values(selected items) step by step with midi input?

Thanks

I would love if this was possible.

tufb has already programmed this for existing midi notes.
I asked if he could change his script accordingly.

Thanks for showing! However I don't really get it, guess it is something different than what I thought.
I hoped it was possible to select an item, play a midi note on the keyboard and the items playrate or pitch is altered according to the played note (so that one could tweak and "play" audio items with the keyboard as if they were inside a sampler).

https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ju...%202%20(M).txt

Try: Set the offset to taste, then link Note to a slider in ReaPitch.

This is a MIDI JSFX for realtime use.

@Dragonetti: Thank you. Unfortunately, I'm busy at the moment. The particular scripts you discuss were custom-made for forum user, Arnar. Indeed, I think that they are something different than what you are trying to do.

@junh1024
Thanks a lot,
Changing sound with reapitch is also interesting however
I have to change the values of the items with the help of midiinput.
For example +1 to -11, +4 to +12 etc.
Thanks

Maybe that's possible with the Virtual Midi Keyboard?

1. You can EDIT your post instead of making a new one
2. My JSFX responds to MIDI input. Have you tried it? Thank you can link it with reapitch. I can't force you to try it, and maybe I can't convince you that combining multiple things might do what you want.

Thank you for your concern
The pitch changes. But nothing changes in the display of the "selected" item.
How can I change the displayed value?
The whole thing would have to run in a script to change the value
"reaper.SetMediaItemTakeInfo_Value (take, 'D_PITCH', new_pitch)"

@Dragonetti
I have posted a couple of scripts here that should do what you need.
https://forum.cockos.com/showthread....93#post2293493
I started a new thread for them to keep track of any questions or bugs etc.
Thanks,

J.
