Fine levels adjustments - really missing in Reaper

It becomes impossible and slightly frustrating task in Reaper to exactly adjust levels: for example you want to adjust volume in track panel and as little as you move with the mouse, it accidentally jumps by 2-4 dB in all the directions - without any control. Similarly item volume and basically any kind of levels.

In Samplitude, you pressed Shift and all the levels were immediately "micro" adjusting. Could something like this be done in Reaper ? Could not find anything ...

Try holding the control key down. That gives you 0.1 dB increments
