Default macOS: C++ extension "accelerator" does not receive modifier keystrokes (FIXED)

On Windows and Linux, REAPER sends modifier keystrokes (Ctrl, Alt, Shift and Win) to the "accelerator" function registered by C++ extensions.

On OSX, however, the accelerator doesn't receive any message when modifier keys are pressed. The extension can therefore not detect or intercept these keystrokes.
