Default More sidechain plugins

Hi,
first off all i love reaper, the support and the community :-)
And sorry for my english.
I would like to have more plugins, that use the sidechain feature.
For example a sidechain delay or a sidechain filter.
That would be nice.

Best wishes from germany

ReaNerd, hopefully a user will share with you a FXChain making use of A compressor and a delay, to show you how to do it, or to get you started. Beatbybit has recently created a good one

@Reapersaurus
Maybe there is a workaround how to make it.
But in the ReaCompressor and ReaGate i have the sidechain function.
Why not in other FX? It would be the easier way.

@Jason
cheers :-)

I think a trigger Key input on a delay is a good idea.

unless you'd rather use more plugins to accomplish the same thing.

ONE more plugin. which allows filtering! and midi-things. and mixage with the dry signal (which seems like an incredibly cool idea by the way).

anything else you need sidechained?

looking at the muell people blurt all over this forum, reaper must have become pretty darn good!

I never use sidechains for filters (lfo's) but I can see how some people might. Especially in electronica and trance type styles. I personally don't know how or when though.

I have modulation and filter plugs with sidechain inputs and was wondering how other people use them. How would you use them?

I'm always open to new tricks. Thanks.

@lawrence
you are right, we produce electronic music
http://www.music-head.de/catalog/pla...go.x=24&go.y=9
if i have a sidechain feature in the plug in, it´s more comfortable
with a lfo i don´t have the same control over the fx

p.s.
i know how to use a gate :-)

well, i was asking for a sidechain-filter before..
for eg. Antares' Filter can do this trick, afaik, it's filter ADSR can be triggered by MIDI.

Opcode's Fusion Filter has a mode when it extracts the keyer signal from another file. (and applies that env to control its filter. it's an offline process)

keying a 2pole HPF produces much less "pump" on pads, basses, and others with big bottom. i think its really useful sometimes. it doesnt affects the higher freqs, but leaves "room" for the kick.

plus other creative uses, like "filter patterns" on pads - not exactly "against the kick". (different filter modes)

here you can find the session showing how i used to do ducking/sidechain delay:
