Default Layering Midi Regions?

I would like to stack some midi regions directly on top of each other and combine them so they all can be edited in the midi editor together.

Is this possible? I've been searching around with little luck.

Are you talking about ghosting MIDI items, perhaps?

You select an item, right click it, Item Processing->Convert active take to MIDI file (ghost copyable). Now when you copy that item, it will generate an exact copy of it, and whatever you edit in the first item, will be edited in the same way in all its copies.

Or do you mean this?

2 items on 2 tracks:

Note that both are selected. Now right-click one of them and go 'Item processing -> Implode selected items across tracks into items on one track. Result:

Man! Its always so easy. Thanks EvilDragon and Steindork you guys are alright!

I'm trying to put down some drum tracks but I'm not quite good enough to tap out all of it in one take. This should help out for sure.

Happy Holidays!
