Default How do I get this particular split docker view? SOLVED (.. well mostly, anyway)

UPDATE: 9/30/2018
Appreciate all the suggestions.
I fixed it by deleting the Reaper.ini file and making a new one.

see screenshot below.
Notice the MCP Master goes all the way down on along the left of the TCP and MCP.
I have tried multiple combinations and reviewed Kenny's video in which he achieves this with another dock, but pulling the Master to left only puts it to the left of the TCP and above the MCP.
I was doing it before without issue, but now I cannot get it to run the full length along the left.

when you drag the docker over, the blue line can be in a few places. I think if you drag more to the top left (or right) corner it will show the blue line top to bottom....that's what you want.

sometimes I feel like that part is just very buggy, like it doesn't want to go where I want it to go

Yes, that is how I was doing it before without issue, but now it doesn't work.
Here are some more screenshots for clarification of the issue:
Separate Docks for the master and MCP and made sure the blue line is all the way up the side.
Results shown in the second screenshot are clearly not the same as the screenshot in the 1st post.

I have also tried docking the FX window and moving it to the left side, but got the same results.
I think it may be a setting, but I cannot see what has changed from when I was doing it before.

I can get that like this:

Right-click over the Mixer tab, untick "Dock Mixer in Docker".
Right-click over the floating Mixer window, Master Track > select "Show in docker".
Right-click over the exlamation point in the docked Mixer Master tab, select "Attached docker position: left".
Right-click over the floating Mixer window, select "Dock Mixer in Docker".

Now both the Mixer Master and Mixer should be on the left, two separate tabs. Grab and drag the Mixer tab to the bottom till the blue line covers the whole bottom area and drop there.

Yep, did all that, multiple times and multiple combinations.
you know it's bad if xpander doesn't have the answer
Thanks for for giving it a shot, though.

I opened a new portable install and it works as expected there.
I renamed the Reaper.ini in the old installation and now it works fine there as well.
Definitely a setting or something has killed it.
Not too much of a hassle, just need to transfer the custom colors and get back to what I was doing.

Oh well Lucas, thanks for the nice tip of the hat, but I can assure you there are plenty of things I have no answers for.

Something odd I have noticed about saved screensets on my side. Every once in a while, right after a Reaper update, I have noticed that some of my saved screensets have not worked correctly anymore. What has helped in every case has been either simply call up every saved set once or call up each saved set and save them again. Last time this did happen was during the prerelease cycle leading up to the current official version.

There has been some discussion about that in the past, but this bugger is almost impossible to catch. Once you've been through the screensets, it's gone and won't reappear when trying to reproduce.

I like the MCP at left of TCP as a 'track inspector'
to get that you have to select scroll tracks, uncheck show multiple rows...
AND for me, most importantly put the Master in it's own floating window... which I keep to the left of everything but it can go anywhere you wish...
big suggestion...

when you have it exactly as you want, save that as a screen set... mine is the F7 key and F8 is the mixer floating in it's own window with the master at the far left.... so you can have many screensets... very handy
