So true... I'm always amazed at what the simple (by todays' standards) processes accomplished...

Such daring and risk taking. Incredible creativity and commitment when recording, mixing, performing.

Such a Zep fan here....

Nah annn :~

I clicked thinking I was going to hear you do a Led Zep song from the album.

That's what we want - you doing a cover song made in Reaper.

Get to it Mr.!

second that motion!

let me live vicariously though your obvious talent!

but you gotta admit that song live like that is really cool, you can hear the seeds start to so many other Zep songs in their little jam.

Sorry... probably should have posted this in a different forum. Was in a Zeppelin Euphoria.

Fabulous boys. They imagined an energy efficiently illuminated air vessel long before the Light Emitting Diode had been invented .

At that time we unsuccessfully tried to do similar music as they did. That is why I hate therm up till now.

What did my passion for Led Zep in was their lack of artistic ethics, namely in their early years, when they attributed Zep music and lyrics to Page and Plant knowing full well they had lifted/plagiarized songs from various afro-american blues artists. They were essentially doing cover songs, but passing them as originals.

BigMusic Corps ($) cashed in on the deception, and while they did eventually acknowledge the contribution of black artists, after years of pressure and lawsuits, it killed some of my love for the band.

A collection of gifted session musicians given the ticket to ride, with a "little help of my friends"... Why not just be honest about the gig? Well, I have my theories on the root cause and motivations behind the ugly affair, but I prefer to keep the speculations for myself. Moreover, the "British Invasion" was not really about music...

I understand how all that past behind the scenes deception could leave a bad taste....

But you know what? When I'm kicked back in my chair and listening to some jam that helps me escape or takes me back to some incredible memory I forget all about that and just enjoy the music... there is no denying that they were a fantastic band.

what they did in that regard does not really affect my day, today...

......and yes in the back of my guitar player mind I know how they really did take others music and used it as their own...

I studied rhythm for over a decade and I can honestly say that Led Zeppelin where my last teachers before I found center of the groove within my own heart.

God bless them, so much magic and love in their music... <3
