Default Reaper will no longer fill screen at lower resolutions and other related issues

I loaded the newest version of reaper and
it appears, that the new version will not fill the
monitor screen at any screen resolution less than
the highest.....never had this issue before, assuming
it's due to the update but can't be sure. Also, besides
no longer filling the screen, the counter on the transport
is only visible at the highest monitor resolution
setting....this highest resolution makes most of the
text in reaper too small to read and overall everything
appears too small. Figured out the preferences, Advanced
UIsystems tweaks method for enlarging things, but
it doesn't enlarge the text and using it at even minimal size
increases disappears the transport time counter. Did a search and others
have been having similar difficult to read issues.
Is there anyway to enlarge the text, or fill the screen
at lower screen resolutions and not lose the transport time
counter?

Figured out a sort of solution. Somehow windows went out of full
screen, fixed that...so reaper is now taking up the whole screen
at lower resolutions, so things, text, etc...are sized better and
can be read o.k.....but the transport timer counter still does not
appear at lower resolutions.....the way around that is I'm using
the "big clock" from the view button and that's working o.k....
but is there a way to get the transport counter back at lower
resolutions?

Can you post a screen capture of that transport counter issue?

I attached pics with counter and without. The one with was
using the highest resolution on the monitor, but text etc..
are too small to read...the one without the counter is at
a resolution I find easy to read. The counter is directly in
line with the transport....

In that case Reaper window is simply too narrow for all the transport elements like the time display to show. If you cannot get the window any bigger by maximizing it, not much to do without changing display settings. You could undock transport from the main window and that will give you ways to resize it many ways, also bringing back the missing elements. Whole other thing is of course if you'd be willing to deal with a floating transport window.

Thanks, may try that. For now, using the "big clock" is
working out o.k., and actually, having it "big" is easier to
read than the regular counter. Oddly, with this new reaper
release, version, some other sizing issues, like being
able to see the track numbers at the bottom of the track at
lower resolutions, were resolved....
