Default Linked faders (group) and CTRL+Click select (SOLVED)

When you group (G) two channels on a mixer then the faders of those channels will be linked. BUT: only until you tweak some other channel's fader... then they unlink.
IMO, the grouped channels should stay linked forever, until I ungroup them.

Another thing: the Ctrl+click to select channels mostly doesn't respond, aka it's just like if I wasn't holding Ctrl. It's a real challenge to select more than two channels.

Use Folder tracks to create a group of them. Probably a more flexible way of grouping faders than the one you suggest, as you can readily modify one fader in the group, or fade the lot with the folder fader.

Ctrl/click works fine here...

The trick is to click on the channel Number when selecting multiple channels.

Cheers,

Malcolm.

Yes, I agree, I'd mainly use folder tracks. But still, that un-linking shouldn't be happening.

You're right, that works. Also clicking on the bottom works. I was clicking just below the volume fader and there it mostly doesn't work.

(G)? Hitting G groups items in tracks, not the tracks themselves.

Oh, I see now. Sorry, didn't check that well.
