Default Uninstalled Mbox2 driver, Reaper still detects it?

Hello

I am suspecting that the mbox 2 driver that I installed previously is interfering with the driver from my Profire 2626 (which I am trying to get working now).

So I went in the control pannel and uninstalled the mbox stuff. However, when I go in the reaper preferences to change driver it still lists Mbox 2 as an option? Anyone knows whats up with that? I went into the digidesign folder and manually deleted the driver folder, but I'm still seeing it in Reaper.

Do I have to delete some extra stuff or what?

Thanks,

You most likely have to "uninstall" opposed to manual delete.
I'd get a program like C Cleaner use the tools to uninstall then use the registry cleaner to make sure all traces are gone.

Did you reboot with the unit disconnected after uninstalling it in device manager?

I did uninstall. I deleted the folder after noticing that the uninstallation apparently didn't work 100%. I'll check out C Cleaner, thanks for the suggestion.
