Deselect parent folders, parent sub folders & sub-sub folders

Is there any script that can do this?

I keep running into this same problem of not being able to do this with muting or deleting tracks for a large mixing template to save on resources.

I tried unselecting parent and selecting only children, but it doesn't really work for every application since some of my parent folders have many sub folders and sub-sub folders haha. I'm very OCD.

Have a look at the search functionality in my Show only specified tracks script. If that's the sort of filtering you're looking for, I can make one for "Select only specified tracks".

two years ago.... HOW DID I MISS THIS AMAZING-NESS YOU CREATED!? Wow, Thank you for all your hard work!
And there's even a way to make custom actions through this! Wow.... Just was about to ask that... I'm smacking my head for not discovering this sooner haha.
