Another way is to use Shortcircuit (Version 2).
It's a free sampler, that easily let you drag samples into the piano roll.
(you can also use Attack, Sustain, Decay, Release / looping / more)
After this, the sample names are written down at the piano key, so it's easy to find them @ midi editor.
Beside this, you need to make short cuts of the sample locations:
* Put this short cuts in the Shortcircuit / samples map, and the samples will be add to the library
* After this, refresh the library, by right click into the library area and click -refresh-
* Every time you start Shortcircuit now, the library is there and you can listen to all your samples -like instant- one by one.
If your samples are from different locations at your hard-disk, or have separate maps within these location's, they will be shown in the library.
Shortly, it's a great free program to check samples and play samples. They all play at the quality, the samples are. So it's not like, the quality is worse.. (because it's free, you might think that)
