Fader banks Reaper 5 Behringer X-Touch

Hello all.

I have a situation that is driving me crazy that I cannot solve. When I’m mixing in Reaper 5.? while using my Behringer X-Touch and Behringer XR-18 to control faders, record, pause etc. Every time I hit stop or move the cursor my X-Touch goes back to the 1st bank of 8 faders. So if I’m working on tracks 17-24 and I move the cursor my X-Touch goes back to the first 8. I have tried to search the forums here and at Musictribe with no luck. Any clues would be greatly appreciated

What do you use to make the XTouch known to Reaper ?

Which XTouch (Universal, Compact, One, Mini, ...)

I suggest using the CSI Reaper extension for this. See the "Control surfaces" subforum here and better ask over there.

I don't see what the XR18 has to do with "controlling the faders" in your setup for mixing recorded material.

I’m using Mackie Control (dev 0,0) according to Reaper. If memory serves me I tried everything in the list and the Mackie was the one that functioned the best. I do not see CSI Reaper in the list. It’s connected to my Mac Mini (headache) via USB. It’s the X-Touch USC.

You need to install CSI on your computer first...
