Default audio overlap (?) behaviour

hello, i was wondering if anyone knows how to set different kinds of audio behaviour? (i dont exactly know what to call it)

lets say i have some drum loops and melodic loops arranged. and i want to either pitch the audio (not with the pitch algoritms but with the item rate)

or increase the bpm. is there a way to make the audio "slip under" the audio in front and be inaudible . instead of crossfading or overlapping? this would be nice when experimenting with different tempos and pitching loops/samples and so on.

any tips is greatly appreciated

not possible?

i notice that when i drag an audio clip from another lane directly on top of a clip the audio behaves like this, it cancels out the other audio but when increasing tempo or otherwise it creates a crossfade..

no slip under/over or something like that?

Options > Auto-crossfade media items when editing

But you can set the desired playback rate directly in Media item properties.
